This class, the second in our Zen Teachers of Color Series, takes place online, November 28 from 7:30-8:30 PM CDT. The teachings of Dr. Larry Ward will be shared by Lisa Gades.  This class is free and registration is required. 

 Dr. Ward is a senior teacher in the Plum Village tradition of the late Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. He also earned a PhD in Religious Studies, focused on Buddhism and the neuroscience of meditation. As co-founder of the Lotus Institute , Dr. Ward’s work focuses on non-violent social change, healing, and transformation. His most recent book is entitled, America’s Racial Karma: An Invitation to Heal.  GPZC has used Dr. Ward’s poetry as part of our services.
